Recovering quicker then last year we know one thing for sure; Abel does not like to be tied down or stuck in the house for more then a day. Poor baby loves to be on the go and out and about. Since we have at least 6 more days left on antibiotics and we are making a strong effort not to have a relapse like last year, we are home-bound at least until then. Our daily routine involves going to the drive-thru at Starbucks to get Mommy coffee and Abel his "Starbucks Agua" and an egg muffin. We then drive to the dog park and sit in the car to eat our breakfast and watch the "pink doggies" running and playing. This will last about 10 minutes before Abel wants to get out and run with the doggies, in which case I have to tell him maybe tomorrow. We then make it home to do art and paint while sitting on the kitchen floor with an effort to catch some sun shinning through the sliding doors. It was so sunny on Saturday that I let him bundle up and go outside for about 10 minutes to get some fresh air. With the fresh air came a smile and a laugh as we hunted for pirates. This was quickly followed by a coughing attack which reminded me why we are staying indoors, I came to my senses and had to break up the fun. We have also had the opportunity to drive around and look at all the beautiful nature we are surrounded by, reminding us of why we live in northern California.
