Completely and utterly addicted to Pinterest and crafting! Somehow it is therapeutic and enjoyable. I am really loving my new creations for the house. I have never been one to do much decorating for holidays....with my new found love for Pinterest....Watch out!

Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween! This year Halloween has been the best! Abel loved everything about this season...including things that are scary. "It's pretend Mommy, it's not real" I was actually worried about Halloween night but he did great. Didn't want to stop trick or treating for anything! His favorite Halloween decoration....skulls. They are called "Bones". He would wear "Bones" on his clothes everyday if I let him. He fell in love with Iron Man this year, picked out his own costume. I had to actually make it since he is still so tiny. The Iron Man costumes in the store were all too big. Nothing a little duct tape and paint couldn't create!

Starting to get hot...

This spring we started water play early. April and May were warmer then usual and we pulled out the sprinker toys to see how Abel liked them this year. He learned to love the water last summer and this year was no different. All he needs is a bucket a hose and some toys and the kid is good to go. So fun to watch him this year as he has really started to hold full on conversations and continues to tell you what he wants to do. As you can see he is still in need of putting on some weight.....we are working on eating this summer. I am anxious to post end of summer pictures to show what a successfull growing and eating summer Abel had! His Dr. wanted him to put on at least 2-3 lbs and I am happy to say he has much improved.......stay tuned for end of summer proof :)

Time to catch up.....

I started this blog to keep up with the ever changing life with a 2 year old. Turns out this blog is last on my list of priorities and I couldn't keep up. Here is a start to making an effort........its time to catch up on our wild and crazy spring/summer of 2012 :)

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's with the cousins and the Bourland Twins

I love going home for visits! It is even more fun when the Pettys come up from Visalia and I get to see my dear friend Tana and her twins that now live accross the street from my parents.

Mothers Day and the Zoo

I had the best mothers day hanging with my boys. We went to the fountains, one of my favorite spots to walk around, have lunch and relax. We did a little shopping, a little eating and stopped for some photos.

We also took a trip to the Folsom Zoo. This is the second time we have been out there with Abel. This time around he enjoyed much more then last. Two years old is the perfect time to hang with the animals......loved the monkeys and the tigers!
