Happpy Thanksgiving

All that I am thankful for.........I hope everyone takes time to think about how special family and friends are. We had a nice quiet Thanksgiving with Gramma and Boompa (grampa). Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and Javy's wonderful "mashed potato tacos".......yummy yummy :)

Not again.......

I guess you could say that Abel has not had the best of luck when it comes to health and his immune system. I will save that topic for an entirely new post ...however just to share a quick glimpse of my poor baby's luck; today he was home sick with the stomach flu. This is only the second time that he has had this type of flu. Is it coincidence that it was the exact same time last year that he (sorry for graphics) started puking all over the living room? I am not exaggerating on the word EXACT either . It was Halloween nite just a year ago and while getting up to pass out candy I turned around to see my 10 month old throwing up for the first time. Happy first Halloween baby... Wasn't even old enough to enjoy some candy :). Fast forward an entire year and here we go again, Abel was unusually grumpy and tired Halloween nite this year. So much that I couldn't even get him in his costume. Never mind the no costume he wasn't going to miss out on saying "trick-or-treat". I ended up putting him in jeans and a Halloween t-shirt and we made a quick loop around the street. It was over quicker then it took me to entice him to go out. Not even in our house for five minutes and no candy given to my poor little guy he was throwing up again just as last year. I guess Halloween is not his holiday :(
